Not some sort of cleverly contrived ploy designed solely intended purposefully stifle competition and pad company coffers instead?!

Long story short (too late now!), moral lesson learned: always keep close at hand any relevant registration information or risk finding yourself stuck in limbo like yours truly - forever locked out from enjoying all the fantastic features that Embird has to offer simply because you failed to follow simple instructions when first downloading their free trial version.
